In the SDK manager, go to Extras and select Google USB driver and click in Install 1 package. After completing the installation, plug in your Android smartphone. Open device manager by searching “Device Manager” in the search bar. Right click on Android Phone and select Update driver software. When you plug the device into your USB, Windows will look for the associated driver, if it cannot find this driver then you will be prompted to insert the driver disc that came with your device.
